Among those are a few brave girls from Kvennaskolinn in Reykjavik who marched downtown today with their tops off. "We followed discussions on Twitter and elsewhere online and decided to take it one step further," says Embla Huld Þorleifsdottir a student at Kvennaskólinn. Although the temperature was just above freezing she says they didn't feel cold at all. The sun came out during their walk which helped. "The response was great. Women came to their windows and greeted us, one of them actually ran out and took off her top. Drivers slowed down and there were many who took pictures." She adds that out of the lot only one person boo-ed the group of girls. Þetta var bara að gerast! Members of parliament have also taken part in the revolution. One of them is Björt Ólafsdóttir, a member of parliament for Björt framtíð, who posted a picture on Twitter with the message: "These are for feeding babies. Shove that up your patriarchy." On Twitter she asked when basic anatomy had become a sexual thing and something to hide. Former Miss Iceland Manúela Ósk has also posted a picture of her nipple as well as Margrét Erla Maack, former media personality and circus performer. #FreeTheNipple pic.twitter.com/RrFh26WLBS — Manuela Ósk (@manuelaosk) March 26, 2015 Þessi var tekin niður af instagram. #prudes#FreeTheNipplepic.twitter.com/c50t5lX8HE — margrét erla maack (@mokkilitli) March 26, 2015 #FreeTheNipple News in English Mest lesið Rispur á bílum út um allan bæ og tjón upp á hundruð þúsunda Innlent „Þetta var algjörlega magnað“ Innlent Tugir slösuðust vegna skýstróka á Sikiley Erlent Telur núna sannað að fundin sé hin rétta Brattahlíð Eiríks rauða Innlent „Sólveig Anna virðist vera með mig algjörlega á heilanum“ Innlent Vill auka aðgengi að verkjalyfjum Innlent Hafi verið beggja vegna borðsins Innlent Kom af fjöllum eftir tilkynningu Trump um orkuvopnahlé Erlent Nýtt flóð í Nepal hreif með sér brýr og hús Erlent Halla Gunnars svarar fyrir sig á Sprengisandi Innlent
